Pastor Brannon J. Carnes
As songwriter, author, international worship leader and sought-out conference speaker, Brannon has devoted his life to fulfilling God’s mandate to helping people make a genuine connection with God (Psalm 2:8). For over 25 years his ministry has touched the lives of thousands of people both here and abroad. He has ministered in over 20 nations and continues to spread the gospel in both word and song.
While serving for 5 years at Oral Roberts University as worship leader and music ministries director, he has shared the stage with great pioneers of the faith and has experienced world-class camaraderie with international worship leaders. For over 16 years, Brannon directed the worship department as well as served as Worship Pastor at Wheaton Christian Center in Carol Stream, Illinois, under the leadership of founding pastor, the late Dr. Carlton R. Arthurs, and lead pastor, Paul D. Arthurs. Brannon now serves as campus pastor at Insight Church (Skokie) under the leadership of Pastor James E. Ward, Jr.
Brannon is the founder and president of Brannon Carnes Ministries International (BCMI). The ministries of BCMI include: Wednesday Worship, a monthly worship ministry on Facebook Live, Heart-Core Worship Seminars which lays foundations in worship leaders, teams and bands, and a video blog entitled A Word in Season, seen weekly on Facebook and YouTube. Brannon has written two books entitled Beloved Son: You’ve Got What It Takes, a book that helps men identify practical tools that chart their domestic and spiritual course in life, and Abundant Life: The Desires of the Good Shepherd, a mini book to inform believers of the truth behind prosperity. More recently, BCMI has reached out to at-risk youths through music and art therapy programs.
Brannon and his lovely wife Denise, son Benaiah and daughter Abigail, currently reside in a suburb of Chicago.
